[NOTE on taking the scenic train ride to retreat: Retreat goers have an option to independently arrange travel from Seattle’s King Street Rail Station, (or elsewhere), taking Amtrak Rail to Leavenworth, (stops just 2.6 miles from Sleeping Lady Resort.) Upon rail arrival in Leavenworth, take a prearranged (private/limited service) taxi or shuttle to the resort from Leavenworth. Retreat goers must take initiative to both prearrange and independently pay for all associated costs without reimbursement. The Amtrak rail ticket is roughly $30-to-$40 round trip. Schedule is limited and the evening rail schedule to Leavenworth is after dark and thus largely non-scenic. The return trip to Seattle is daytime hours, weather providing, the mountain scenery for nearly the whole ride, is magnificent. Specific travel reservations with Amtrak from Seattle to Leavenworth or from Leavenworth to Seattle (if desired, don’t forget reservations both ways) can be made independently on this page.]
